Publishing in Apeiron

Effective date: 18 October 2026 · Version 1.0

You publish games, applications, DLC and mods from Dev Studio. This page explains the money side.

No commission

Apeiron takes 0 %. From each sale you get the price without VAT, minus the card fee Stripe charged for that payment, and nothing else. The fee is the real one for that card (cards from outside the EU cost more), and both lines are shown in your earnings. Earnings land in Billing → Earnings and are paid out to your bank account.

A purchase made with the Apeiron balance carries its share of the card fees paid when the gift cards behind that balance were bought.

Refunds

Players can get a refund under the rule on the Buying, Balance & Refunds page. A refund removes the licence and takes your share back. Stripe keeps its fee for a refunded payment, so that fee stays with you as well. Tell players how long your game takes in Launcher → Length: it sets how much of it a player can try before buying becomes final.

Prices and regions

You set a price in euros, including VAT. Apeiron suggests a price for every region and rounds it the way local stores do. You can type your own price for any region in Pricing → Regional prices. A sale on the euro price applies to every region by the same share. Prices start at €0.99; 0 makes the product free.

Mods

Mods can be free or paid. The owner of a game decides whether mods for it may be sold (Pricing → Mods for it may be sold). A mod author sets the price and is paid under the same rules as above.
